About Deacon Dan & Paula Laurita
As an ordained deacon in the Catholic Church, Deacon Dan Laurita loves to share his faith. Much of his parish ministry is involved with teaching. He is the leader of the St. John the Baptist RCIA team (Madison, AL). He has a Masters degree in Sacred Scripture from St. Charles Boremeo Seminary, Archdiocese of Philadelphia. He leads the parish Scripture Study. Deacon Dan speaks Italian fluently and lived in Italy for three years (Vicenza). He travels to Italy frequently and enjoys leading pilgrims to and through Rome. The last pilgrimage was during Holy Week. It was a fantastic experience for all. We were blessed to have seats right behind the cardinals and bishops during the Holy Week services.

Paula Larutia is the librarian at their parish school. She is a co-teacher for the RCIA. She is working on her doctorate degree in Information Sciences. Paula has also lived in Italy and has a working knowledge of Italian. While living in Italy she was the Conference Director for the Military Council of Catholic Women's annual Rome conference. She co-leads the pilgrimages to Italy and can help you find all the shops to get the perfect gift for your friends and family.

About Epipahny Travel
Epiphany Travel was born after frustrating experiences with secular and religious tour companies. The idea is to present a balance. Time to pray, time to laugh, and time to just be in Rome. On other pilgrimages the "full time" tour escort would disappear during free time and we became the guides to visit all the Churches left off the normal itinerary.

It became obvious that we could plan a better pilgrimage. Due to our knoweldge of Rome we could make better arrangements for hotels and meals. The trip was no longer being planned by someone in the States who has never been to Rome. Since we are not trying to make money, we can pass the savings on to the pilgrims. You will not be pushed into a restaurant to be served mushy pasta, and then pushed out, for the sake of making a few dollars for the tour company. We deal with each establishment directly.

If you would like the names of past pilgrims write us and we can give you references.
